About the Role
As a Machinery supervisor, you will play a crucial role in our operations.
Reporting to the directors and farm manager. Your responsibilities will include:
* Operate agriculture equipment and farm machinery.
* Ensure farm and equipment is maintained to a high standard.
* Ensure farm machinery, implements, and vehicles are maintained to ensure they are safe and to minimise downtimes from mechanical failures.
* Train tractor operators and field workers to complete their tasks safely and efficiently.
* Lead by example, providing leadership and guidance to workers.
* Supervise and prepare daily work routines and ensure the quality of daily production operations.
* Maintain accurate records of farm activities, such as equipment usage and labour hours.
* Assist with general farm work where required.
* Meet regularly with the management team to communicate requirements, concerns, produce levels, etc.
* Ensure Food safety, OHS, and Chemical safety is adhered to.

To be considered for this role, you will have:
* Relevant AQF Diploma or equivalent OR minimum 3 years of experience as a Machinery Supervisor.
* Proactive and self-motivated.
* Ability to demonstrate proper use of equipment.
* Ability to follow directions and work unsupervised.
* Basic understanding and knowledge of WHS and ability to apply knowledge.
* Contribute to developing safe work procedures, identify and report any hazards or incidents.
