About The Opportunity This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role at the heart of Council’s operations. In this position, you will support Council’s strategic direction by coordinating the executive services of Council meetings and providing high-level executive and administrative support to the Executive Leadership Team and Councillors. You will be a central point of coordination, ensuring smooth and efficient governance processes, effective meeting management, and professional assistance to senior leaders. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, values attention to detail, and takes pride in delivering high-quality support that enables Council to achieve its goals for the community. About You Demonstrated experience in providing high-level, high-quality administrative support as an Executive Assistant or similar role. Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team in a professional and positive manner with the ability to be tactful, discreet and maintain confidentiality. Demonstrated high-level communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally; Including extensive experience in the preparation of agendas, minutes, correspondence and reports. Demonstrated experience in providing strong organisational support to leaders, including effective time management and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, changeable environment. Demonstrated experience in the preparation and presentation of research reports, including the ability to simplify complex material. Demonstrated experience in the use of relevant industry software and electronic systems for records management. Demonstrated experience in project management desirable.
