Maintenance Fitter (Morning Shift) | Tyrecycle
We're looking for a skilled and motivated Maintenance Fitter - morning shift to join our team at Tyrecycle Erskine Park Team on a full-time basis.
Must be flexible to work variety of shift times as follows:
Day Shift: 5am - 1pm
This hands‐on role is key to ensuring the continued reliability, performance, and safety of our plant and equipment. You'll play a crucial part in driving operational excellence through best practices in safety, environmental compliance, product quality, housekeeping, and equipment utilisation.
Key responsibilities include:
* Promote and model safe working behaviours in alignment with Tyrecycle's OHS standards.
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plant and equipment, ensuring compliance with SOPs and statutory obligations.
* Proactively contribute to a high‐performing team environment focused on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
About you:
* Solid understanding of safe work practices and manual handling procedures.
* Experience and Qualified Maintenance Fitter.
* A collaborative team player who's hands‐on, dependable, and solutions‐focused.
* Strong problem‐solving abilities with a practical mindset.
* Electrical disconnect/reconnect licence (highly regarded but not essential).
