Position Overview
A motivated Accountant is required to join our finance team, ensuring accuracy in accounting and reporting, supporting our purpose-driven work.
We offer flexible working arrangements and consider new graduates on a full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities
* Financial Operations: Process general ledger, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, allocation of funding received.
* Compliance and Audit: Ensure government funding agreements compliance, expenditure, record-keeping, acquittal requirements, annual financial audit, and BAS management.
* System Improvement: Support improvements for financial systems and procedures.
* Cash Flow and Budgeting: Assist Finance Manager with annual budget development and forecasting.
Requirements
* Education: Bachelor of Business (Accounting) or related discipline.
* Experience: At least 2 years of experience as an Accountant preferred, graduates considered.
* Skills: Financial expertise, Xero proficiency, Excel skills, GST and taxation knowledge, excellent communication and teamwork skills.
