The Sandvik Parts & Services Workshop in Orange, NSW is expanding and seeking skilled technicians to fill multiple positions. As the go-to expert for our state‐of‐the‐art mobile equipment, you'll ensure peak performance and reliability, boosting productivity for our customers by applying your proactive approach to machine performance. Your efforts will drive success by helping our customers achieve their operational goals, expanding our customer base, and growing our support team. To support you, we offer comprehensive product training to keep you at the top of your game, along with dedicated support from our expert product support personnel.
Roles
Heavy Diesel Fitter, Mobile Plant Mechanic, experienced Service Technicians and Drill Fitters.
Roster
7 days on, 7 days off (Day Shift & Night Shift)
Machinery worked on
Underground (UG) Loaders, UG Trucks, UG Drills and Surface Drill repairs.
Responsibilities
* Conduct core mechanical and auto electrical duties, including maintenance, repairs, and fault diagnosis on all Sandvik Mining equipment.
* Execute mechanical and auto electrical maintenance tasks according to maintenance plans, ensuring the integrity and safe operation of the equipment.
* Provide feedback to enhance maintenance planning and efficiency.
* Maintain meticulous records of parts usage, equipment monitoring, and time logs.
* Adhere strictly to all policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on EHS policies.
About You
We are looking for someone based near Orange, NSW with an Australian‐recognised Mechanical or Auto Electrical Trade Certification. Your demonstrated experience with trucks, loaders, and drilling mobile mining equipment will be a distinct advantage. You should have a strong and proven safety culture, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a strong customer service focus. Your motivation and determination to achieve targets and goals, along with a proactive, self‐motivated attitude and the ability to take initiative, are essential. Basic computer literacy and a Class C Manual Driver's License are required.
