CCR Group is looking for an experienced Safety Advisor to help build the community they live in. As a locally owned and run business, we are passionate about supporting local labour, for local projects.
Servicing the Southwest, we provide high level support to the Mining, Processing and Engineering/Construction sectors.
Primarily based onsite supporting our operations with respect to all HSE compliance matters, there will be time per fortnight working from our Bunbury based workshop, providing continuous H&S education and support, with a focus on our safety management system, training, and culture.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for;
* Ensuring that the business is supported by appropriate health and safety advice such that the requirements of both regulatory and ISO accreditation requirements are met
* Provided on-site safety oversight for daily construction activities to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and project requirements
* Delivering implementable health and safety initiatives, KPI's and training consistent with the Business direction
* Incident investigation
* Lead Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Strategy
* Managing/Assisting with Internal & External Audit Schedule including 9001:2015 and 45001
* Operational Health and Safety Leadership
* Support the Return To Work process
Skills & Experience
* Cert IV in WHS / Safety Management or a related HSE oriented field
* Proven employment experience in a HSEQ leadership role
* Comprehensive knowledge of the Workplace Health and Safety Act, Regulations and Codes of Practice
* Experience working with ISO Accredited organisations (ISO: 9001:2015 and AS: 45001:2018.)
* Understanding of Workers Compensation and Return-to-Work programs
* Sound knowledge of risk management principles and related practices and procedures
* Demonstrated experience in implementing health and safety management systems, and providing advice to managers and staff with regard to best practice HSEQ matters
* Strong knowledge of environmental regulation
* Possess a working understanding of leadership principles and management best practice
Highly Desirable
* Diploma in WHS / Safety Management or a related HSE oriented field
* Fabrication or Mechanical trade background
Salary will be negotiated with the successful candidate based on skills and experience.
