About The Role
Our client, a global company, is seeking an experienced and ambitious
Senior Technology Business Development Manager
to join their team and drive business growth in the Australian Defence space. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for identifying and capitalising on new Defence business opportunities, building strategic relationships, and contributing to the company's expansion in the Australian East Coast.
This is a permanent opportunity open to candidates in the East Coast, preferably near Canberra. The successful candidate should be open and willing to travel within the east coast as required.
As The Selected Candidate, You Will
* Build sales pipelines through your deeply rooted connections in the Australian Defence space
* Grow notable pieces of business inside Defence
* Provide strategic advice, reporting to the Managing Director in Australia and Head of Sales (Internationally)
* Support in rebuilding and bolstering local teams for growth
To Be Successful In This Role You Should Have
* At least 5 years of experience in business development or in similar roles
* You're based in the Australian East Coast
* You possess deeply rooted connections in the Defence space
* Due to your expertise in the Defence landscape, you are able to look at what opportunities are possible for the business and advise on resources required to make that happen
* You have the openness and ability to travel interstate if required
