Job Description: Cafe Manager

Salary: $75,000 – $85,000

Responsibilities
* The Cafe Manager will be the direct supervisor for all front-of-house staff, including Baristas, Food & Beverage Attendants, and Customer Service Attendants, and will work closely with Cafe Supervisors in day-to-day operations and staff management.
* Provide strong and inspiring leadership, motivating and developing a high-performing team across both front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
* Collaborate closely with the Cafe Supervisor to oversee all daily cafe operations, including staff scheduling, training, performance management, and adherence to high standards of customer service.
* Collaborate with the senior kitchen management team to develop and implement menus, ensuring quality, consistency, and profitability.
* Manage inventory control, budgeting, and cost control measures to optimize cafe profitability.
* Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for both staff and customers.
* Develop and implement marketing strategies and promotions to increase cafe visibility and customer base.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, working towards positive resolutions.
* Conduct regular performance reviews to ensure staff are meeting KPIs.
Qualifications
* Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a cafe management role.
* Demonstrated leadership skills with a proven track record of motivating and developing teams.
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
* Excellent operational skills with a focus on efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
* In-depth knowledge of food and beverage service, inventory management, and budgeting.
* A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
* Experience working collaboratively with kitchen staff and chefs is highly desirable.
* A valid Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or equivalent) is a requirement.
