Prince of Wales Private Hospital is seeking Theatre Assistants to join our Theatre team. You will take pride in your work, have a friendly and positive work attitude and achieving high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction, in this faced paced and diverse environment.
As a Theatre Assistant your responsibilities will include:
* Delivering excellent service and care to patients
* Maintain and clean theatre equipment
* Assist in patient transportation to and from the Theatre complex
* Liaise within a multi-disciplinary team
* Ensuring patient and staff safety
* Sound knowledge of theatre equipment and safe use practices
* Proven troubleshooting skills
* Process organisational skills and complete documentation to a high standard
Essential Criteria:
* Authority to Work in Australia
* Prior experience in a hospital setting (desirable)
* Prior experience as a Theatre Assistant or Wardsman (desirable)
* Flexibility to work a range of shifts
* Working with Children check
* Commitment to Quality Patient Care
* Sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Works well independently and within a team
