Join Our Behaviour Support Team
About the Role: We are seeking experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners to provide life-changing therapy to NDIS participants.
* Working in diverse settings, including homes and schools to playgrounds, workplaces and community centres, you will utilise assessment and intervention skills to support participants in achieving their goals and maximising NDIS funding.
* You will build meaningful relationships with the participants and their supports (family, carers, friends) and develop and implement behaviour support plans with function-based strategies utilising positive behaviour support framework.
* Conducting functional behaviour assessments and collaborating within interdisciplinary teams to address complex behavioural challenges.
* Attend weekly team meetings in the hub, sharing stories of impact, coffee and laughs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Relevant tertiary qualification (bachelor, masters or graduate diploma).
* Relevant registration such as occupational therapist (AHPRA), speech pathologist (SPA), social worker (AASW) or mental health nurse.
* Minimum 12 months experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner.
* Positive and flexible approach to work.
* Strong communication skills and be a team player.
* Commitment to personal and professional growth.
* Valid Australian driver's license.
* NDIS workers screening check.
* Working with children check.
