Overview
Expressions of Interest are invited from experienced Verification & Validation Engineers to support the delivery of advanced national security technology solutions at Leidos Australia. We are planning to engage in recent projects that will require additional talent to help.
Your New Role And Responsibilities
The Verification & Validation Engineer ensures that complex systems meet rigorous performance and compliance standards. You’ll lead testing and validation efforts across hardware and software platforms, contributing to the successful delivery of sophisticated hybrid cloud infrastructure and supporting services.
- Develop and execute verification and validation (V&V;) plans, procedures, and compliance matrices.
- Conduct functional, environmental, and acceptance testing aligned with industry standards.
- Ensure traceability of requirements across system components and documentation.
- Analyse test results, identify defects, and support resolution with engineering teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to align testing strategies.
- Support production and quality teams with test equipment setup and diagnostics.
What You\'ll Bring To Make An Impact
Qualifications typically sought include:
- Degree or proven experience in Systems Engineering or Software Engineering is highly desirable.
- Experience in Defence, Aerospace, or Federal Government projects.
- Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., ALM, Jira).
- Understanding of regulatory compliance and standards relevant to defence technologies.
Due to the nature of the role, you must be an Australian Citizen and hold an active NV-2 security clearance with potential uplift to a TSPV clearance.
