Project Engineer
The role of Project Engineer is critical in the delivery of infrastructure projects. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Participate in safety reviews and workshops, including risk assessments and compliance with client specifications and Australian standards.
* Manage subcontractors delivering project work and coordinate functions, including technical support during construction, quality control, contracts, claims, variations, audits etc.
* Provide technical input into procurement, including support during execution and management of the procurement process to delivery.
* Oversee project completion documentation and deliverables.
* Manage quality assurance processes, including inspections and testing during construction and commissioning stages.
Our ideal candidate will have:
* A degree level qualification in Engineering (Mechanical or directly related).
* Sound experience in a project engineering role, including design knowledge in order to influence outcomes and ensure compliance with client specifications and Australian standards.
* Experience on construction projects in water infrastructure, including Water Treatment Plants / Waste Water Infrastructure.
* Experience with subcontractor management, project financials, procurement and HSE planning.
* Adopting and driving a culture of workplace safety.
