An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced, creative and motivated individual to join the team at Bunbury Dolphin Discovery Inc. as the Marketing and Public Relations Manager. This role will lead the development and implementation of strategic marketing and public relations initiatives to enhance public and tourism awareness, grow visitation, and strengthen the Centre’s profile.
Based in Bunbury and reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Marketing and Public Relations Manager will be responsible for managing the Centre’s brand, marketing strategies and partnerships, ensuring effective promotion across a range of channels including digital media, traditional media, paid campaigns, influencer partnerships and tourism networks.
The successful candidate will drive the creation of innovative marketing programs and build strategic collaborations with key stakeholders to deliver mutually beneficial outcomes. The role will oversee marketing collateral and distribution, represent the Centre at trade shows and industry events, manage the marketing budget, and provide expert advice to senior management and the Board.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
• Substantial experience in the development, implementation and evaluation of marketing strategies and programs.
• Proven experience in managing media and strategic partnerships.
• Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and negotiate effectively.
• Strong conceptual, analytical and research skills, with the ability to deliver creative and practical marketing solutions.
• Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
A competitive salary package, including superannuation, will be offered to the successful candidate. This is a part-time position (22 hours per week), with some weekend or after-hours work required from time to time in line with events and campaign activities.
