Investigations in Cardiac Science
The Cardiac Investigations Unit provides cardiac diagnostic services including echocardiography, exercise and dobutamine stress echocardiography, transoesophageal echocardiography, exercise stress testing, tilt table testing, and ambulatory electrocardiogram (ECG) and blood pressure (BP) monitoring.
Our Team
A multidisciplinary team consisting of Cardiologists, Cardiac Physiologists, Nursing and Administration work together to provide exceptional patient care.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Cardiac Services expansion project which will see the design and development of Cardiac Catheter Lab providing public interventional cardiac services locally in Rockhampton.
Key Responsibilities
* Delivering cardiac investigations to relevant stakeholders/customers across Central Queensland Health (CQ Health).
Required qualifications include a tertiary qualification in science (or equivalent) with a strong component of human anatomy and physiology. Registration or membership with appropriate registration authorities or associations would be well regarded.
Additional training or evidence of considerable professional development in cardiac clinical measurements would also be highly valued.
