The Opportunity: We are seeking a full-time team player to contribute to technical product engineering, resolve site and production issues, propose and strengthen processes, and improve product quality. With a variety of modular and bespoke playgrounds, no day is ever the same!
Key Responsibilities: As a Design Engineer focused on product support, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our play spaces and will:
* Collaborate with the Design & Engineering team to enhance products and processes
* Support assembly and manufacturing teams with technical drawings and Bill of Materials (BOM) data
* Investigate issues and propose process improvements to prevent recurrence
* Perform Solid Edge CAD work, including 2D drawings/drafting and 3D modelling
* Maintain BOM’s and related systems
About You: We are looking for someone who is not only technically skilled but also excels in problem-solving, effective communication, and teamwork and:
* Holds a degree in engineering with 1-5 years of practical experience
* Is passionate about precision and follow-through
* Is an strong CAD user (Solid Edge experience a bonus)
* Is hands-on and understands mechanical and construction concepts
* Has experience working alongside a manufacturing shop floor, providing technical info, drawings, and parts lists
* Balances reactive and proactive approaches to arising issues
* Is driven to develop new skills and knowledge
* Willing to engage in training to equip you with the specific skills and industry knowledge required for this role
