Outside School Hours Care - Community Access Coordinator

Location: Kew
Vacancy Type: Monday - Friday Flexible Part Time, 6 months with the possibility to extend.

Join our Outside School Hours Team and become an integral part of our mission to support school-aged children and young people (aged 5-18) with disabilities in choosing the lives they want to live.

In this role, with the support of the Community Access Manager you will support a team of Disability Support Staff and work collaboratively with the schools, children and parents and/or primary carers to foster positive relationships in the community and create meaningful and engaging experiences to support children's learning, achievement, engagement and wellbeing?

Role details

This is a flexible part-time role.

After School Care: 10:30am - 6:30pm, School Holiday Vacation Care: 9:00am - 5:00pm, Includes weekly additional administrative time.

About you

We're looking for a dynamic and experienced coordinator to support in the development and lead our OSHC Services.

To be successful in this role you'll share Yooralla's values and have:

- Bachelor's Degree is highly desirable.

- Experience in the Early Childhood, Education, or School Aged Care or disability sector
- Strong ability to develop high-level strategies for OSHC programs, while maintaining effective stakeholder relationships across multiple sites.

- Excellent communication skills and high emotional intelligence, with a proactive can do attitude and willingness to engage in all aspects of work.

- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
- Committed to empower children and young people to reach their goals and uphold quality and safeguards.

- Ability to provide positive mentoring to towards team members
- First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certificate.

Successful appointment with Yooralla is subject to mandatory safeguarding checks, including a Working with Children's Check and evidence of Australian work rights, etc.
