Physical Education Teacher – Junior School
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and experienced Physical Education Teacher to join our College community on a full time, ongoing basis commencing in Term 3, 2025.
This role will be responsible for teaching Physical Education across years Prep to 4 in a collaborative and progressive environment.
To be successful in this opportunity you will require:
* Tertiary qualifications in Education.
* Current VIT Registration.
* A current knowledge of Australian Primary Curriculum and the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) in relation to teaching Physical Education.
* Previous experience teaching Physical Education in a Primary Independent School setting (preferred).
* Knowledge of contemporary pedagogy and innovative use of ICT in the classroom to enrich learning.
* Well-developed classroom management strategies which enhance student engagement and outcomes.
* Be an active contributor to a collegial work environment.
* Willingness to uphold the ethos and values of the College.
