The Role:
As Chef De Partie you will work alongside our talented team to prepare high-quality dishes in line with our fine dining standards. Responsible for managing your section, contributing to menu development whilst ensuring adherence to HACCP and cleanliness standards.
This is a full-time role requiring availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare, cook, and serve a range of dishes in line with Royal Sydney standards.
* Collaborate and contribute new dishes/ideas to the menu with the Executive Chef/team.
* Manage daily section setup and ensure smooth kitchen operations.
* Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards (HACCAP).
* Lead by example and work independently when required.
* Monitor food quality during preparation.
* Minimum 3-4 years' experience in a similar fine dining or hotel-style restaurant.
* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (preferred).
* Strong knowledge of food safety practices and current food trends.
* Excellent communication skills, energetic, with a professional attitude.
* Ability to remain organized and composed in high pressured situations.
* Full, unlimited working rights in Australia.
* NSW Food Safety Certificate.
* NSW Food Safety Supervisor certificate.
