The core capability requirements for this role are:
1. Assist in the development, implementation, overview, and evaluation of strategic policy initiatives that contribute to the alignment of business outcomes for the department.
2. Assist in the development, implementation and overview of appropriate strategies, policies, standards and guidelines in line with agency requirements.
3. Represent the department on committees and working parties.
4. Prepare and review reports, briefing notes, submissions, business cases, departmental and other correspondence in accordance with organisational requirements.
5. Deliver presentations and reports to senior executives and represent the business unit and agency at internal and external forums.
Role Requirements:
6. There are no mandatory requirements for this role, however experience in policing, criminology, law or a similar criminal justice related field will be considered favourably.
