About the role
Fantastic 12-month fixed term contract for a diligent and motivated Nutritionist Support Officer to join our CopRice team in Melbourne. In this role, you assist the CopRice Nutrition team with the daily management of product formulations to enable CopRice to obtain optimum commercial outcomes that delivery industry leading nutrition insight, great product quality and a sustainable cost base. You will also play a key role in the integration of Feed Formulation System and ongoing data management.
**Key responsibilities include**:
Provide input and advice into daily and monthly ration formulation meetings with production team.
Ingredient research, analysis and selection for all products to ensure compliance with finished product labelling, production, cost constraints and ensure products are "fit for purpose".
Assist Nutrition team with system integration and required reports for Nutrition Team.
Collaborate with the operations team to monitor and support quality management objectives across all sites.
About You

**You will have**:
Bachelor of Agricultural Science (Animal Production) or equivalent.
Previous experience working within Agri-industry in feed formulation or animal nutrition roles.
Knowledge and understanding of animal health and nutrition for all species, particularly ruminant, equine.
Data management and analysis skills.
Exposure to Feed Formulation Systems preferred.
High level of organisation skills and strong attention to detail.
Ability to communicate across all levels of the business.
