Remuneration: The successful applicant will receive a tax-free stipend of $52,352 per annum (2025 full-time rate) plus the opportunity for a paid internship with the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO).

In partnership with AEMO, Monash University launched the Zema Energy Studies Scholarship in March 2019, a world-class PhD program designed to develop future energy leaders in Australia.
Program Goals:
Develop multidisciplinary expertise across engineering, IT, business, and economics.
Deepen research capabilities and leadership potential.
Provide exposure to Australia's national energy industry.
Encourage collaboration with industry and development of professional networks.
Research Areas:
