About the chance
- Research evidence based practice and implement into current practice.
- Identify and prioritise the career development needs of staff.
- Develop, implement and evaluate learning activities across the organization in collaboration with the Quality Manager and relevant managers.
- Implement, facilitate and evaluate effective clinical orientation programs for clinical staff new to the environment.
- Develop and implement, monitor clinical competencies.

To be considered for this position you will need to meet the following criteria:
- Qualified Registered Nurse with current APHRA registration
- Post graduate qualifications in education & training or working towards
- Previous experience in clinical education
- Knowledge of contemporary nursing and evidence based practice
- Knowledge and experience in leading and managing change
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Understanding of Subacute educational requirements.
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
- A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
- Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.

- Minimum of three years full time equivalent post registration experience with demonstrated recent experience in Child and Family Health Nursing
- Demonstrated recent experience in clinical teaching, with experience in the delivery and evaluation of education programs
- Training and Assessment (TAA) qualification or Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment or currently enrolled in the program.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written), and proven computer skills and literacy
- Evidence of participation in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills.
- Current valid NSW Drivers Licence
