The Role
This role provides an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer or quality professional to develop their expertise within a large-scale heavy industrial environment. Working closely with Operations, Production and Technical teams, you will support site quality systems, raw material compliance, product performance monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives across cement manufacturing processes.
Internally known as a Quality Business Partner, this position plays a key role in maintaining product quality, supporting operational decision-making, and ensuring Adbri continues to meet customer and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
Support quality control activities across raw materials, clinker and finished cement products, including testing, sampling and compliance monitoring
Analyse production and laboratory data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
Partner with Production and Maintenance teams to investigate non-conformances and implement corrective actions
Support plant trials, process optimisation initiatives and operational changes
Facilitate site quality discussions and contribute to continuous improvement programs
Utilise laboratory resources to assist with technical investigations and product performance analysis
Promote strong quality, safety and environmental standards across site operations
What You Will Need To Succeed
Degree qualification in Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial Chemistry, or Analytical Chemistry
Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret technical and production data
Ability to communicate technical findings clearly with operational stakeholders
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Commercial awareness with the ability to recognise operational or product quality impacts
Proficiency in Microsoft Office systems and data analysis tools
Exposure to manufacturing, cement, mining, quarrying or heavy industry environments (desirable)
