THE POSITION
* Assist and oversee the preparation, cooking, and presentation of all culinary offerings within the site canteen
* Support the monitoring and evaluation of food production and menu-based catering to ensure quality and consistency
* Assist with stock control and provide mentoring and training to staff as needed to foster skill development and teamwork
* Ensure strict adherence to allergy awareness protocols to maintain a safe dining environment
* Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness at all times
THE PERSON
* Minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery required
* A team player with a positive, enthusiastic attitude and strong work ethic
* Solid knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and infection control practices
* Current National Police Check (within last 3 months)
* Must be an Australian citizen or actively progressing through a residency pathway
* Has reliable transport, as there limited access to public transport
