Badesha Carpentry Pty Ltd, based in Maddingley, VIC, is seeking a qualified and experienced Carpenter to join our growing team. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and the opportunity to work on a range of residential and commercial projects.
Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 per annum plus superannuation
Key Responsibilities:
* Interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications to determine materials, dimensions, and installation methods
* Select, order, and prepare timbers and other materials as required
* Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials to construct frameworks and structures
* Erect wall and roof frameworks, install sub-flooring and floorboards, and ensure structural accuracy
* Install external cladding, door and window frames, fascia panels, and roof sheathing
* Assemble and install prepared structures and fittings
* Construct and dismantle concrete formwork as required
* Repair and maintain existing structures and fittings
* Work with a variety of materials including timber, laminates, perspex, and light metals
Skills and Experience:
* Minimum 2 years of relevant carpentry experience
* Relevant qualification at Certificate III or IV level in Carpentry or related field
* Strong ability to read and interpret plans and technical drawings
* Proven experience in framework, roofing, and flooring installation
* Experience in material selection, layout preparation, and structural assembly
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
