The Opportunity
We are looking for a vibrant professional, interested in working in a dynamic business based on the Sunshine Coast. This role will suit anyone with front reception experience, but willing to wear many hats, and support the wider business across general office administration, asset management, accounts, marketing and events.
The role will be based at our Corporate Head Office at Nambour. Working 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday.
Key responsibilities of the position include:
Administration & Accounts
Oversee daily office functions, including maintenance of office, boardroom, and kitchen facilities.
Manage incoming phone calls and emails, ensuring prompt and accurate distribution to relevant staff.
Coordinate ordering and replenishment of stationery, groceries, and other office supplies.
Handle incoming and outgoing mail.
Provide administrative support to remote and interstate sites, ensuring timely ordering and delivery of required materials.
Reconcile accounts such as fuel statements and telecommunications bills.
Create purchase orders and assist with accounts payable processes.
Registers & Asset / Uniform Management
Maintain various business registers, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Support IT and HR teams with onboarding and offboarding processes, including setup and disconnection of assets.
Manage IT asset records, ensuring accurate assignment, tracking, and accountability.
Coordinate fleet registrations and de-registrations.
Monitor and maintain stock levels of uniforms; liaise with third-party suppliers as required.
Manage merchandise inventory, including design input, ordering, and distribution.
Oversee shipment and delivery of merchandise.
Marketing & Events
Assist with marketing activities, including website updates, newsletters, and internal communications.
Organise and coordinate events such as internal competitions, corporate functions, and staff gatherings.
Manage events including catering, setup, and pack-down.
Requirements of the role:
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Problem-solving mindset and ability to work collaboratively.
Ability in Microsoft Office, excel and general IT systems.
Valid driver’s licence and access to own vehicle.
Apply problem-solving skills to resolve operational issues promptly.
Any previous experience in civil construction, earthmoving or transport will be highly regarded.
