QT Gold Coast is part of EVT. EVT creates memorable experiences in entertainment, ventures and travel across a portfolio that includes hotels, restaurants, and attractions. QT Hotels & Resorts is EVT's premium lifestyle hotel brand. This role focuses on delivering warm, knowledgeable service and a great guest experience as the Concierge, the first point of contact and impression for guests.
Key Responsibilities
* Welcome guests with warmth, professionalism, and a focus on creating memorable experiences.
* Assist with check-ins, check-outs, and provide information on hotel services and facilities.
* Handle guest calls, messages, requests and concerns promptly and courteously.
* Record guest preferences to personalise future stays.
* Accurately process payments and transactions.
* Carry out porter and concierge duties, including assisting with luggage and special guest requests.
* Resolve guest issues using service recovery guidelines and escalate when necessary.
* Support reservations, cancellations, and booking changes as required.
* Work collaboratively with other departments to deliver seamless service.
* Ensure compliance with safety, security, and hotel protocols.
Skills & Experience
* A genuine passion for hospitality and creating great guest experiences.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Problem-solving skills with a proactive, guest-first attitude.
* Basic computer skills and ability to use hotel systems (training provided).
* Ability to handle cash/credit transactions with accuracy.
* Physically capable of lifting up to 23 kg and being on your feet for long periods.
* Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
* Current valid driver's licence (not learner).
