About the role
Ample Interiors and Joinery Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Cabinet Maker / Installer to join our team in our Punchbowl, NSW location. In this full-time position, you will play a vital role in the creation and installation of high-quality custom cabinetry and furniture pieces for our clients in the local area.
What you'll be doing
* Fabricating and assembling custom cabinets, vanities, and other joinery items from start to finish
* Accurately measuring, cutting, and shaping wood, laminates, and other materials to client specifications
* Installing completed cabinetry and joinery pieces at client sites, ensuring a flawless fit and finish
* Collaborating with the design team to translate client briefs into functional, visually appealing pieces
* Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment
* Ensuring all work meets or exceeds industry standards and safety regulations
What we're looking for
* Formal qualifications in Cabinet Making or a related trade, such as an apprenticeship or Certificate III
* Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a Cabinet Maker, preferably in a custom/high-end joinery environment
* Excellent woodworking skills, including the ability to read plans, use power tools, and perform precise measurements
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing flawless work
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
* Good problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome challenges
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
