Are you a hands‐on scientific leader with a passion for quality and compliance? We are seeking a Analytical Services Manager to lead our Quality Control (QC) laboratory, based at our manufacturing facility in Dandenong South. This is a fantastic opportunity to manage a high‐performing team and deliver timely, compliant, and high‐quality analytical services across our Aspen business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and develop the QC laboratory team, promoting engagement, growth, and a safe work environment.
* Oversee physical, chemical, and microbiological testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products, including stability programs.
* Ensure regulatory compliance with TGA, ISO, GMP, and GLP standards.
* Develop, validate, and transfer analytical methods, maintaining robust laboratory systems (instrument calibration, reference standards, retention samples).
* Oversee investigations into out‐of‐specification and out‐of‐trend results and implement corrective actions.
* Collaborate effectively with QA, Production, Regulatory Affairs, and Planning teams to align laboratory priorities with business needs.
* Champion SHE (safety, health, and environment) practices and maintain high standards of laboratory housekeeping.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and implement new technologies or systems.
* Oversee budgetary performance for the QC department, including capital expenditure planning.

* Extensive experience managing QC laboratories in the pharmaceutical industry.
* Strong understanding of analytical testing, method validation, stability programs, and regulatory requirements.
* Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a high‐performing team.
* Hands‐on, proactive, and solution‐oriented with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Committed to quality, compliance, and safety while driving continuous improvement.
