Job Opportunity
This position offers a unique chance to work in an innovative and adaptable environment, collaborating with surgeons to design medical devices. As a biomedical design engineer, you will be responsible for digital implant and surgical planning, medical device product development, and CAD modelling.
Key Responsibilities:
* Developing and implementing digital implant and surgical planning systems
* Collaborating with surgeons to design and develop medical devices
* Creating CAD models of medical devices
* Gathering requirements from surgeons and stakeholders
* Validating designs to ensure they meet regulatory requirements
* Transferring designs to production teams
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor of Biomedical Engineering or equivalent qualification
* Experience as a Surgical Planner or in a related field is ideal
* Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to build strong business relationships
* High attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of biomedical engineering principles and practices. They will also possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
