Life in the fast lane

As our Division Manager – Membership, you will be joining Commercial team who make up part of the Commercial Department.

This is a permanent position, based at our Head Office in St Kilda.

Reporting into the Chief Commercial Officer, you will be responsible for leading the strategic direction, commercial performance and long‑term growth of the organisation's new Membership program. This role oversees the full lifecycle of the membership program — from strategic planning and product development to operational execution, customer experience excellence, benefit fulfilment and revenue optimisation.

Additionally, you will:

* Define and own the Membership strategic roadmap, ensuring alignment with the organisation's commercial objectives and broader fan engagement strategy.
* Oversee the design and delivery of the end‑to‑end member experience, ensuring brand‑aligned and premium engagement across all touchpoints.
* Responsible for achieving membership program KPI's including retention and acquisition targets
* Lead the development and ongoing optimisation of CRM and membership management systems.
* Own the Membership budget, including revenue targets, cost management, forecasting and commercial reporting.
* Partner with Marketing and Digital teams to create integrated campaigns that drive acquisition and engagement.
* Influence organisational decision‑making by representing member voice, strategic needs and commercial outcomes at leadership meetings.
* Provide support, leadership and professional development to others within the team, ensuring a high‑performance, customer‑focused team culture.

What you'll bring to the role:

* Tertiary qualifications in Business, Sport/Event Management or a related field.
* 5 – 8 years of leadership experience in Membership, Loyalty, Customer Experience, Ticketing or related commercial environments.
* High proficiency with CRM platforms (Microsoft Dynamics advantageous) and ticketing systems (Archtics favourable).
* Demonstrated success leading customer‑centric programs at scale.
* Strong commercial acumen with proven revenue accountability.
* Experience leading and developing teams in a high‑pressure event, sporting or entertainment environment.
* Advanced communication, presentation and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels (including executive and board level audiences)
* A current Police Check and Victorian Working with Children Check (Employee), or be willing to obtain.
