The Opportunity
A rare opportunity exists to contribute to Australia's campaign for a non-permanent seat on the United Nations Security Council (2029–
Working within a collaborative, high-profile team, you'll help deliver the campaign's communications strategy, supporting Australia's engagement with the United Nations, international partners, and the diplomatic network.
The Role
As Communications Support Officer, you will:
* Create high-quality written, visual, and digital content aligned with campaign messaging.
* Lead the design and production of branded materials, including digital assets and merchandise.
* Coordinate campaign events and launches, ensuring consistency across communications and branding.
* Manage procurement and contracts for design and merchandise services in accordance with Commonwealth Procurement Rules.
* Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective, consistent communication.
About You
We're seeking a motivated communications professional with:
* Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
* Experience in graphic design (Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
* Background in strategic communications, public diplomacy, or media.
* Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes under limited direction.
* Experience in procurement or contract management for creative services or merchandise.
* A collaborative mindset and sound judgement when managing sensitive information.
