About the role...
As a Videographer / Editor at Content Crew, you'll be a core part of our team bringing compelling stories to life for some of Australia's biggest brands, government bodies, and not‐for‐profit organisations.
You'll be working alongside our talented producers, editors and animators to create content that connects with people.
Depending on the project, your focus will shift between camera operation on set, leading interviews, and crafting polished edits in post‐production.
This role will suit someone who truly understands narrative – not just how to capture a great shot, but how to build a story from scratch, on set and in the edit suite.
Strong communication skills, a calm presence under pressure, and the ability to work directly with senior clients and on‐camera talent are a must. You must also be willing to travel around Queensland and interstate for shoots when required.
No two days are the same, and that's how we like it!
The skills you'll need...
A successful applicant must have:
* 3+ years' experience in video production, with a reel that demonstrates both your shooting and editing skills
* Ability to operate Sony Cinema Line cameras (FX3, FX6, FX9) confidently across corporate, documentary and commercial environments – studio and on location
* Producing skills to lead on-camera interviews with senior talent and high‐profile clients, drawing out authentic, compelling and on-message responses
* Experience in designing and executing lighting setups across a range of shooting conditions and environments
* A solid eye for lighting, framing, and composition (including taking stunning still photos)
* Editing skills to deliver polished video content across multiple formats – brand films, social content, documentary, corporate videos, and more
* Ability to manage post-production workflows including colour grading, audio, and motion graphics in Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve
* Great communication skills and a willingness to collaborate with the wider team to bring briefs to life and contribute your own ideas on every project
* Adapt fluidly between shooting, interviewing, gear prep and editing responsibilities depending on the scope and needs of each project
* A valid Queensland drivers licence and ability to travel
