A highly regarded civil engineering design consultancy with a strong international footprint and a well-established Melbourne office is looking to appoint a Senior Water Resources Engineer to join their growing team. With a solid pipeline of urban development and infrastructure projects across Victoria, this is an opportunity to step into a technically respected team where your expertise will be valued from day one. The Opportunity You’ll play a key role in delivering hydrology and hydraulics outcomes across a diverse project portfolio, working alongside experienced civil and environmental engineers. This is a hands-on technical role suited to someone who can operate autonomously, contribute immediately, and support project delivery at a senior level. What You’ll Be Doing Lead and deliver hydrology & hydraulic modelling packages Apply RORB and TUFLOW to real-world flood and drainage challenges Prepare high-quality technical reports for clients and authorities Work closely with multidisciplinary teams on design and approvals Engage with stakeholders, including councils and relevant authorities About You 6–8 years’ experience in water resources engineering Degree qualified in Engineering CPEng and RPEV (essential) Strong hands-on capability with: RORB TUFLOW GIS tools Technical report writing Proven ability to “hit the ground running” in a consulting environment Familiarity with the Victorian market, including exposure to Melbourne Water requirements (highly regarded) Why This Role?
