Overview
The Chance is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Head of FP&A to lead Financial Planning & Analysis for our Australia and New Zealand business. This is a critical leadership role within the finance team, partnering closely with the CFO and senior stakeholders across the region and Group.
Responsibilities
* Lead budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and expense control.
* Deliver board-level reporting and other critical financial deliverables.
* Drive finance transformation, process improvement, and change management initiatives.
* Provide high-quality, timely insights to influence decision-making and enable strong business performance.
About You
* Highly analytical, data-driven finance leader who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments and collaborates with senior stakeholders locally and globally.
* Degree qualified and fully qualified CA or CPA.
* Minimum 10 years' post-qualification experience.
* Insurance industry experience is essential; IFRS 17 knowledge is highly regarded.
* Solid financial modelling capability, including advanced Excel.
* Experience with Power BI and Anaplan; knowledge of Tagetik is an advantage.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to present complex financial information to non-finance audiences.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business partnering skills.
* Self-motivated, resilient, and able to meet tight deadlines.
