Are you a Broome based fire tech with passion for the industry? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join the KFS team.
What You'll Do
* Test and Maintain: Ensuring site equipment and systems are tested and maintained as per AS1851.2012 standard requirements.
* Focusing on monthly and 6 monthly services, working independently across all fire system types.
* Provide detailed reports: Working with our skilled office team to ensure comprehensive and professional reports are provided to our customers and sites. Detailing clear calls to action for any defects and faults.
* Troubleshoot and rectify: Perform fault finding, reporting, and rectifications.
* Travel: Work autonomously and as part of a team across various sites in the Kimberley region. Minimum 1 week away each month (Monday - Friday).
* Safety First: Adhere to all WHS requirements for each client site.
What We're Looking For
* Experience: Minimum 2 years in the field.
* Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of AS1851.2012 requirements.
* Tech-Savvy: Able to operate a web-based service management app on your personal mobile phone/tablet (allowance provided).
* Professionalism: Excellent customer service skills, strong work ethic, and well-presented.
* Compliance: Ability to meet site and customer requirements, including medicals, police clearances, DAS, etc.
* License & Credentials:
o Current manual driver's license (with a proven ability to drive for long distances and on unsealed roads)
o White card.
o Certificate II or III in Fire protection is highly regarded
