Senior Laboratory Technician - Vacancy Details
Haileybury is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Senior Laboratory Technician to join our City campus Science team at 0.6 FTE commencing 30 March 2026. You will play a key role in supporting dynamic, hands‐on learning by preparing experiments, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe and inspiring laboratory environment for students from Prep – Year 12.

Main Duties
* Set up equipment, prepare materials, and assist teaching staff to ensure smooth execution of practical sessions and experiments.
* Maintain cleanliness, security, and safety standards, including proper storage, labelling of chemicals, and record‐keeping as required by authorities.
* Order and maintain consumable stocks, manage resource inventories, trial experiments, and coordinate repair work with the maintenance department.
* Additional related duties as delegated by the Head of Department from time to time.

* Proven ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
* Strong organizational skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
* Experience working with children from culturally and/or linguistically diverse backgrounds.
* Well‐organized and patient.
* Enthusiastic, conscientious, and a collaborative team player.
