Job Opportunity
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Energy Transition Consultant to join our Power Systems Department. As part of our team, you will play a pivotal role in developing significant energy transition infrastructure in Australia and Asia Pacific.
About the Role
You will be responsible for leading technical advisor roles on large renewable energy projects, managing project timelines, quality, and finances to meet deadlines and success criteria. Your expertise will guide and review designs for generator interconnections in onshore and offshore environments, ensuring alignment with local networks and requirements.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Be:
1. Lead client advisory services, resolving project challenges, developing Owner's standard requirements, reviewing technical submissions, and coordinating with local and international experts.
2. Manage project aspects including time, quality, and finance to achieve project goals.
3. Serve as a power engineer, guiding and reviewing electrical system studies and calculations for large generator interconnections.
4. Implement Ramboll QA/QC procedures, understanding and applying relevant codes and standards.
5. Build strong relationships with clients, communicating technical knowledge effectively to ensure alignment with their objectives.
6. Assist with performance management and mentoring of team members.
7. Contribute to business development and proposal efforts in the Power Systems area.

About You
We value personal and professional growth. To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications, skills, and capabilities:
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent; Chartered Professional Engineer status is highly preferred.
* Expert knowledge of electrical systems within the Australian context.
* 15+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in large-scale renewables design or project development.
* Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to communicate effectively, resolve conflicts, and foster continuous learning.
