Are you passionate about making a meaningful impact through sport and community? WA Cricket is seeking a dynamic and experienced Foundation Manager to lead the philanthropic efforts of the WA Cricket Foundation.
This is a unique opportunity to drive positive social and environmental outcomes across WA through strategic donor engagement and fundraising initiatives.
This is a full time position, however we are open to considering part time arrangements for the right candidate.
How You'll Make an Impact
* Proactively source and secure new donors to support the WA Cricket Foundation's initiatives.
* Collaborate with the Head of Commercial to develop corporate leads and create partnerships with the Foundation and sponsorship opportunities for the benefit of WA Cricket and the Perth Scorchers.
* Provide high quality service and stewardship to existing donors, ensuring ongoing engagement and satisfaction.
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of the WA Cricket Foundation, including executive support to the Board and fulfilment of reporting obligations.
* Ensure compliance with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) in collaboration with the Head of Finance.
* Lead the planning and execution of other key WA Cricket fundraising initiatives, including the Pledge a Picket Campaign and the Scoreboard Restoration Appeal.
* Work closely with the General Manager Community Cricket to ensure effective planning and delivery of programs funded by the Foundation.
* Partner with the General Manager Communications, Marketing & Stakeholder Engagement to develop and implement marketing and communications strategies that promote the Foundation's work and impact.
* Lead the delivery of the WA Cricket Foundation event series, including bespoke events
A great fit for this role looks like
* Proven experience in donor acquisition, stewardship, and campaign delivery.
* Ability to lead and manage fundraising initiatives from concept to execution.
* Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with donors, stakeholders, and board members.
* Experience in donor servicing and engagement strategies.
* Understanding of not-for-profit governance and compliance, particularly with ACNC regulations.
* Experience supporting board operations and reporting requirements.
* Experience in planning and delivering donor-focused events and engagement activities.
* High level of professionalism, discretion, and ethical conduct.
