The Opportunity
We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join our team during an exciting period of transformation as we transition from Preceda to Workday. Please note that this is a part-time position for 3 days a week.
In this role you will work closely with a diverse employee base and report directly to the Payroll Manager at our Eveleigh office.
What you'll do
Manage end-to-end payroll processes including employee setup changes terminations and fortnightly payroll runs(Preceda and Workday).
Review and validate documentation timesheets and invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Prepare and distribute payroll reports while maintaining accurate electronic records.
Respond to payroll queries and provide excellent customer service to employees and stakeholders.
Support continuous improvement initiatives including automation opportunities and adherence to company policies and WHS standards.
What you'll bring
You're proactive, detail-oriented and collaborative, thriving in a fast-paced environment have :
Proven payroll experience ideally within a medium to large organisation.
Proficiency with payroll systems and strong Excel / data skills.
Ability to reconcile superannuation payments and interpret awards / EBAs (desirable).
Excellent time management organisational skills and clear communication.
Collaborative team player with discretion in handling confidential information.
