We are looking for someone with experience and who is able to run the kitchen.
The roles for the vacant position include but are not limited to:
- work from 1pm to 11pm, Monday to Saturday
- Clean kitchen equipment and tools before use. Cleaning and restocking workstations and ensuring that all equipment is sanitized and prepared for the next shift
- Make icing, and icing the cake.
- Decorating cakes with icings, buttercream and edible toppings, like flowers
- Design and improve recipes to attract more customers
- Greeting customers, answering questions, marking recommendations, accepting orders and payments, and providing exceptional customer service
**Qualifications and skills required for the role**:
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Minimum **two (2)years'** experience as a cake decorator
- Be able to decorate cakes using creative techniques
- Familiar with all professional kitchen equipment, including mixers, blenders
- Understanding of food safety practices
- Excellent time-management skills
- Team spirit, with a customer-focused attitude
- Have a high attention to detail
- The successful applicant would ideally be available 5 days per week, and be flexible to work around customer demands, including early morning, night, weekend and holiday availability.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
