Unite Resourcing is hiring on behalf of our client, an established and growing Australian supplier operating within the industrial and commercial insulation market.
About the Role
This is a hunter-focused, field-based sales role responsible for identifying, developing, and converting new business opportunities. You'll work closely with senior leadership and branch teams to grow market share, recover at-risk business, and respond strategically to competitive pressures.
The role suits a commercially astute sales professional who thrives on opportunity creation, understands pricing and margin, and can influence outcomes in competitive, price-sensitive markets.
Key Responsibilities
* Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities within industrial and commercial markets
* Drive demand through targeted prospecting, networking, and market engagement within Tier-1 environments
* Build and strengthen relationships with contractors, consultants, distributors, and end users
* Identify trailing or at-risk business and develop recovery strategies
* Apply strong commercial judgement to pricing, deal structure, and margin outcomes
* Analyse customer spend, pipelines, and buying patterns to uncover growth opportunities
* Monitor competitor activity and provide market intelligence to leadership
* Develop and execute territory plans aligned with business strategy
* Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasting, and reporting
The Role
* $70,000 - $90,000 + Super + Commissions
* Monday - Friday, Perth based
* Significant work opportunities
* Reports to: National Business Development Manager
About You
* Proven experience in a hunter-style sales role, ideally within industrial, commercial, construction, or related sectors
* Strong commercial acumen with an understanding of pricing, margin, and deal evaluation
* Confident prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills
* Experience selling through or working with distribution channels (highly regarded)
* Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to analyse data and translate insight into action
* Current driver's licence and ability to travel within territory
