Pace Live is an Australian-based global entertainment company that develops, produces, promotes, and tours premium theatrical productions. Our work spans financing, development, creative and technical production, tour scheduling, marketing, and facilitation — delivered through a complete end-to-end model.
Supported by growing global infrastructure and trusted relationships with theatres, promoters, and industry partners across key international markets, we don't just create our productions — we tour them, book the venues, promote the seasons, and present them directly to audiences around the world.
Our productions have reached audiences across Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, Canada, the United States (including New York's Off-Broadway), and the United Kingdom (including London's West End) — and our global touring footprint continues to expand.
About the Role
We're hiring a Marketing Executive to help drive ticket sales across our national and international tour calendar.
This is a hands-on execution role. You'll be the person making sure ticket sales happen on the ground day-to-day — setting up listings, chasing venues, coordinating content, pushing campaigns live, and keeping every detail tracked in Monday.com. Strategy sits with the CMO and Marketing Manager. Your job is to deliver.
You'll report to both the Chief Marketing Officer and the Marketing Manager, and work alongside our in house Social Media Coordinator, designers, video editors, publicists, and media buyers to help every show hit its ticket sales target.
What You'll Actually Do
Venue marketing execution
* Send venue marketing packs on time for every on-sale and chase venues for responses — persistence is part of the job.
* Collect Marketing Services Guides, Local Media Contacts, and Local Marketing Recommendations from each venue.
* Approve venue marketing offerings within your authority, and elevate anything above threshold.
* Brief designers and video editors on venue-specific assets, QC every asset before it goes out, and send final materials to venues on time.
* Follow up with venues 3–4 weeks out from each show to confirm execution and extract any additional opportunities.
* Request and file proof of marketing distribution (screenshots, photos, confirmations) from each venue.
Website, listings & community outreach
* Add every new show to the Pace Live website, update ticketing links, and maintain the site on an ongoing basis — check show pages for accuracy, fix broken links, and keep content current.
* Create listings across Facebook Events, event aggregator platforms, and local "what's on" directories — at least three per venue.
* Post in relevant local Facebook groups and community pages to build awareness in each touring market.
* Identify and brief local partners — dance schools, cultural organisations, local businesses, micro-influencers — especially for soft-sales venues.
Ticketing platform administration
* Action show listings, price tiers, discounts, holds, comps, and on‐sale configurations across ticketing platforms and venue box office systems.
* When the instruction is "release the cheapest seats for sale," it happens the same day.
* Coordinate with venue box offices on pre‐sales, subscriber offers, and last‐minute inventory moves.
Ticket sales tracking
* Check daily ticket sales reports across every active tour and every individual venue.
* Flag underperforming venues early to the CMO and Marketing Manager, with observations — not just data.
* Update weekly projection sheets and keep every tour's sales data current in Monday.com.
* Execute paid digital campaigns on Meta, TikTok, and Google against briefs provided by the Marketing Manager or CMO. Write ad copy, set up targeting, monitor performance, and optimise as directed.
* Brief external designers, video editors, and publicists against clear specifications — dimensions, copy, dates, venue details, and approval requirements.
* Quality control every asset before it goes to venues, media buyers, or into market.
* Support press release workflows with external publicists — venue approvals, revisions, and sign-offs.
* Coordinate delivery and distribution of printed collateral (posters, flyers, programs) to venues and local distributors.
Media buying coordination
* Traffic assets, manage approvals, and track proof of placement for TV, radio, print, and outdoor campaigns booked through external media buyers.
* Make sure every piece of content lands with the right supplier on the right deadline.
Reporting
* Track campaign performance using the reporting tools available to us (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, UTMs, ticketing platform data).
* Prepare weekly updates on campaign activity and sales for the Marketing Manager and CMO.
What Success Looks Like
* Sales targets are hit across every tour and every venue.
* Problem locations are assessed early, flagged with observations, and actioned quickly.
* Listings, eblasts, and campaign pieces go live on time.
* Venue marketing opportunities are followed through and tracked.
* Assets are QC'd, accurate, and on‐brand before distribution.
* Daily sales data is tracked, and concerns are flagged upward promptly.
* Monday.com stays up to date — work is tracked in the system, not in your head.
* Briefs, content, and approvals move through the system on schedule.
Who you are?
* You own your role. You take responsibility for what's on your plate, see things through, and don't wait to be chased.
* You are a doer. You get things done — on time and to a high standard.
* You are detail‐focused. You take pride in your work and check things carefully before they go out.
* You are organised. You can juggle multiple tasks across tours and keep them moving.
* You are a clear communicator — direct, specific, and considered.
* You take direction well, deliver against it, and close the loop.
* You bring a good attitude to the team — positive, collaborative, and happy to get stuck in.
* You thrive in fast‐moving environments with clear priorities and tight timelines.
What You'll Need
* Minimum 2 years in a marketing, advertising, or ticketing role — ideally in live entertainment, touring, events, or sales.
* Hands‐on experience with Slack and Monday.com — highly favoured, as we run our entire operation on them.
* A positive, can‐do attitude and a willingness to get stuck into whatever the day requires.
* Ownership of your work — you see tasks through to completion and communicate openly when something is at risk.
* Strong organisational skills — you can juggle multiple tours and campaigns without losing track of the details.
* Comfortable working with ticket sales data and performance reports.
* Reliable, organised, and responsive during Australian business hours.
Nice to Have
* Working knowledge of Google Analytics and UTM tracking.
* Direct experience with ticketing platforms and venue box office systems.
* Familiarity with TV, radio, and print media buying workflows.
* Prior exposure to international touring markets (US, UK, Ireland, NZ).
* Experience with Mailchimp, Wix CMS, or equivalent email and website tools.
* Experience briefing external creative suppliers.
The Practicals
* Hours: Full‐time. Core business activity sits around 9am–5pm AEST, but the nature of live touring for a global entertainment company means flexibility is required around on‐sale launches, show weeks, and international time zones — including occasional evening and weekend work.
* Location: Gold Coast preferred (hybrid). Remote considered for exceptional candidates in compatible Australian time zones.
* Salary: $72,000–$78,000 per annum plus superannuation, commensurate with experience.
* Reports to: Chief Marketing Officer and Marketing Manager.
Life at Pace Live
* Complimentary tickets to Pace Live productions
* Invitations to opening nights, team events, and industry networking
* A growing business with growing opportunities — as Pace Live scales, so does the scope for the people who help build it.
* Access to professional development — industry training, conferences, AI tools, and events relevant to your role.
* Potential to travel to tour destinations across Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, the US, and the UK as the business and the role evolve.
* Exposure to international touring markets — working alongside the team on productions that reach audiences in Off‐Broadway, the West End, and beyond.
