Job Description
Join the Drive news team and help us deliver timely, engaging content to a captivated automotive audience. We're looking for a sharp, capable journalist to cover everything from industry trends to dealership updates, all while working with a supportive team of editors and senior journalists.
Day to day you will
* Stay up to date with the latest automotive news, with a focus on new model releases, car sales data, dealerships and industry trends.
* Write high-quality, engaging news articles and reports under tight deadlines.
* Use SEO strategies and social media to maximise the visibility of your content.
* Collaborate with editors and multimedia teams to enhance your stories.
* Engage with our audience by responding to comments and questions.
* Monitor and analyse the performance of your articles, providing insights for future content improvement.
Qualifications
* Knowledge of the automotive industry and an interest in cars.
* Excellent writing and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
* Exceptional research and fact-checking abilities.
* An understanding of SEO and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
* A valid driver's license.
* Preferably a degree in journalism or a related field.
