Seeking a seasoned finance leader to spearhead our Accounts function, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer.
The successful applicant will lead the finance team with a commitment to development, support, productivity, performance management and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include:
* Effective leadership of the finance team;
* Processing of invoices, journal entries, coding and associated activities;
* Debt recovery, board report preparation, credit limit, interest charges and payment term management;
* Payroll activities from payment of wages and benefits to end-of-year requirements, reporting, compliance and addressing employee enquiries;
* Daily banking, receipting, allocation of payments and bank reconciliations;
* Investigating variances/discrepancies;
* Various reporting, analysis, project contribution and multi-entity ownership;
* Support with data entry and administration for New Zealand operations;
To succeed in this position, you will need to have a strong analytical and autonomous skillset, as well as excellent communication skills. Previous experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel is essential, along with the ability to manage large datasets and leverage time management and organisational skills to achieve results.
