Essential Criteria
* A relevant tertiary qualification (preferably in Australia)
* 3+ years relevant experience
* A current driver's license
Desirable Criteria
It would be advantageous to have some experience using the following:
* Trimble and Leica Robotic Total Stations and GNSS Receivers
* Trimble Digital Level
* Leica Laser Scanners
* DJI drones
* Neo, GeoCivil, Trimble Business Centre, Leica Cyclone & Infinity surveying software
* AutoCAD, BricsCAD drafting software
Responsibilities
The positions responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Both field and office work for a wide range of types of surveys, including but not limited to: detail surveys, engineering setout surveys and cadastral surveys.
* Reporting to supervising Director/Staff Member both for commencement instructions and again upon completion of each day's work.
* Preparation of files and data for survey and processing of collected data including plan preparation for checking.
* Maintain and calibrate all survey equipment.
* Manage survey data and keep digital/paper records of all the applicable information required to allow the continuation of survey work by any other surveyor within PDA.
* Complete surveys to the level of accuracy and precision required to meet the scope and final use of the survey data by our clients.
* Complete and comply with required quality assurance processes.
