Loader & Excavator Operator – Burleigh Heads

We’re currently seeking an experienced Loader & Excavator Operator to join a well-established recycling and resource recovery operation based in Burleigh Heads. This is a great opportunity to secure long-term work with a company that plays a key role in sustainable waste management and environmental solutions.
The Role:
Working within a busy recycling facility, you’ll be responsible for operating heavy plant: loader and excavator in tight work areas.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operating Loaders and Excavators safely and efficiently
* Assisting with material movement and processing within the facility
* Supporting general site operations as required
* Following daily instructions and meeting operational deadlines
* Conducting pre-starts and ensuring machinery is maintained, fuelled, and parked correctly
* Adhering to strict safety, environmental, and quality standards
What We’re Looking For:
* 1-3+ years’ experience operating loaders and/or excavators
* Relevant tickets and VOCs (highly regarded)
* Background in waste, civil, construction, quarry or mining industries preferred
* Ability to work day shifts and overtime when required
* Strong commitment to workplace safety
* Confident communication skills (including 2-way radio use)
