Global Logistics Lead
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a global logistics strategy that drives cost savings, process efficiency, and service level improvements. This role will lead regional logistics teams across multiple regions to drive measurable efficiency gains, optimize third-party logistics partnerships, and ensure service levels consistently exceed expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement a global logistics strategy that aligns with business objectives
* Oversee global transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution operations to maximize efficiency and reduce operational costs
* Manage the selection, RFP process, and contractual negotiations for new 3PL partners, ensuring optimal cost, service levels, and alignment with business objectives
* Establish dashboard reporting to ensure optimized regional performance and achievement of logistics KPIs, including on-time delivery, fulfillment accuracy, freight cost management, and other SLA metrics
* Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and technology solutions to streamline logistics operations
* Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, Sales, and IT teams to align logistics initiatives with broader business goals
* Proactively identify risks in the global supply chain and implement mitigation strategies to maintain service continuity
* Drive logistics initiatives that directly improve gross margin, customer experience, and international scalability
* Have full accountability for global logistics P&L, 3PL strategy, and network design decisions
Qualifications & Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field (Master's preferred)
* 10+ years of senior logistics or supply-chain experience in global organizations, ideally with multi-region responsibilities
* Strong knowledge of international freight, warehousing, and distribution networks
* Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
* Data-driven and analytical, with experience using KPIs to drive operational performance
