About the role
The Manager Commercial Services will be responsible for leading the development of the organisation's land and property commercial portfolio including Busselton Margaret River Airport, Busselton Jetty, Busselton Jetty Tourist Park and associated contracts, leases, licences and other third party agreements.
The role will drive commercial decision‐making, identify investment and growth opportunities, and lead outcomes that balances strong financial returns to the City with community benefit, risk management and long term sustainability.
This is a role that will suit an individual who can think beyond "business as usual" and confidently shape commercial strategy in a complex operating environment.
What you'll bring to the role
* High level of management skills demonstrated through at least five years in a similar role.
* Demonstrated business acumen and commercial development experience with the ability to recognise and develop commercial opportunities to fruition.
* A proven ability to operate at a strategic level.
* Strong problem solving, critical thinking and conceptual skills.
* Demonstrated experience in economic and business development.
Pre-employment requirements
* Current C Class Driver's Licence.
* National Police Clearance (less than six months old).
* Proof of right to work in Australia.
* Pre‐employment medical (arranged and paid for by theCity).
