We are currently seeking an experienced Specification Manager to lead and grow specification activity across Queensland, strengthening relationships within the architectural and design community and driving project influence from concept through to construction
About the Role...
Reporting to the National Specification Manager, you will be responsible for promoting Alspec systems into commercial and residential projects, supporting consultants through the design and documentation stages, and ensuring Alspec solutions are specified and retained.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and managing strong relationships with architects, designers, façade consultants and key stakeholders
* Influencing project specifications across commercial, multi-residential and mixed-use developments
* Providing technical guidance on aluminium systems, NCC compliance, sustainability and performance requirements
* Delivering CPDs, presentations and product updates to practices and industry groups
* Tracking projects through the specification pipeline and supporting conversion to supply
* Collaborating closely with sales, technical and fabrication partners
About You..
You are commercially minded, technically confident and comfortable operating in a consultative, relationship-driven role.
You will ideally have:
* Experience in a specification, architectural sales or technical role within the construction industry
* Strong understanding of aluminium window, door and façade systems (or related building products)
* Knowledge of NCC compliance, performance requirements and sustainability considerations
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* A proactive, organised approach with strong stakeholder management ability
* Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a national team
